Frequently asked questions

1. Which languages are supported?

Source: every language our OCR can read — English, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese, and 40+ Latin-script languages including French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, and Vietnamese. Target: Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, and the same Latin-script languages.

2. Does it keep the original image layout?

Yes. Each detected line is translated and drawn back in its original position, matching the surrounding background and text color, so the translated image looks like the original.

3. What file types can I upload?

JPG, PNG, and WEBP images up to 20 MB.

4. Is it really free?

Yes. Signing in with a Google account gives you up to 500 image translations and extractions per month, free.

5. Are my uploaded images stored?

Images and translated results are stored privately under your account and automatically deleted after 30 days. No one else can access them.
