Why chain steps here instead of running tools one by one?
- No quality loss between steps. Saving a JPG after every tool re-compresses the image each time. The pipeline keeps every intermediate step lossless and encodes your chosen format exactly once, at the end.
- No re-downloading and re-uploading. Each tool's output feeds the next step directly. One drop, one download.
- The order is explicit. Remove the background before rounding the corners; compress last so nothing undoes it. The step list shows — and warns about — ordering that would waste work.
- Recipes make it repeatable. A set of steps you use weekly becomes a one-click card. If you find yourself chaining the same tools by hand, the tools will offer to save those steps for you.
Frequently asked questions
Does quality degrade when I chain several edits?
No. Between steps the image is kept lossless (PNG), and your chosen output format is applied exactly once at the end — so chaining five steps loses no more quality than running one.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Every step — including the AI background removal — runs in your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Can I reuse a set of steps later?
Yes. After a run you can save the steps as a named recipe; it is stored in your browser and appears as a one-click option next time you drop an image.
